2011.09.11 Inkigayo + MBLAQ fanmeeting

Got up before sunrise again and headed to SBS on the first subway from my station. Was lucky enough to be there early enough to be guaranteed a ticket to Inkigayo so, all I had to do for the rest of the day until 4pm was to… wait. Since nothing was really opened at that time yet (7~8am) Dina and I just lounged around the gates in front of Inkigayo and what do you know… Soohyun walks by! (Inside the building though, but not exactly far from us) According to D, he waved at us but I have no memory whatsoever of this. I, on the other hand, just stared. Right after him went Hoon but he didn’t seem to realize I was waving at him (for all he knew it might have just been me aggressively beating D’s umbrella), but Eli waved back at us!

Our seats in Inkigayo were on the left side, quite in the middle of the rows. I would say we actually had really good seats because we had a really clear view of the waiting area for artists (and vice versa). Especially my selfish side was enjoying it because we basically got to hog a lot of fan service by U-Kiss all for us because most A+ in front of us couldn’t have cared less, there was no one behind us, and the Kiss Mes were sitting below us so that they couldn’t see what was going on – as couldn’t the Kiss Mes next to me because they were blocked by the stereos. So when U-Kiss came to the waiting area there really weren’t many paying attention them but us who were waving like maniacs to the boys. Soohyun was, again, the first one to notice us and wave at us and doing the heart and all. Eli also waved and did a heart, as did Kevin. Dongho and Hoon merely waved at us, Kiseop was mimicking D and basically laughing at us and AJ… was oblivious to our existence. And I definitely cheered for them a lot! MBLAQ was our next victim then, but they naturally had all of A+ going crazy with waving at them. They were so cute on stage. It was their last one of this promotion period and you could see they definitely wanted to make it an enjoyable one for the audience by being even more playful than the song already allows you to be. And I love how Mir yelled ”A+ 감사해요!” in the beginning. We had some waving going on for Infinite too. Well, mainly D did since she loves Dongwoo, and I cheered for them a little too – now that I’ve finally grown to like the song.

After Inkigayo, us A+ headed to a park nearby where we would have a fan meeting with the boys. Obviously we failed to get the first row but we still had pretty good seats, I think. After their speeches, they started doing fan interactions. First up was drawing for some lucky people who got to take pictures with them and D turned out to be one of the lucky ones! Of course I was jealous, as was probably everyone else there, but she totally deserved it. Then they fulfilled some wishes, such as Cheondung rapping in English and Seungho doing aegyo. The time went by really fast and soon it was already time to announce the fan meeting was coming to an end… I already thought that I would completely fall into oblivion with the boys for eternity (because of my collection of failed attempts at waving at them) when it turned out that we would still have a short handshaking event with them! Joon wouldn’t be taking part in it because he was sick, but everyone would get to greet the rest of the members up close. First up was G.O., and at this point I didn’t have a slightest clue of what to say to him – or anyone else for that matter since it was so sudden – so I just thanked him. And because he grabbed my hand with both of his, I did the same to Seungho. I don’t think he said anything to me other than nodded, or at least I cannot remember him saying anything (maybe he’s blocking my memory just like D’s?). After that came Cheondung, the one I knew would speak English, so you would have expected me to be slightly less awkward with him. Yet all I could come up with was “Nice to meet you!!” which he found a bit funny, naturally. The best one was saved for last: Mir. I’m not sure anymore how exactly it went down but I’m quite sure he said thank you and, when I got a chance; I told him that I had bought him a gift (in Korean, even!) and he was thanking me again and then right before letting my hand go he said “I love you”. TOTALLY MADE MY NIGHT. Probably even made my life.
